Full-Scale Reproduction of KISS Destroyer Stage to be Revealed Built Direct from Original Blueprints

This episode we are joined by Bobby Getchell from Dressed To Kill to discuss the Spirit of 76 Expo, a charity event, to support St. Jude Children&#8217;s Research Hospital, featuring a full-scale recreation of the KISS Destroyer stage, set to debut on September 12, 2026, exactly 50 years after the original tour ended. It was a years-long effort to build the stage using original blueprints provided by the original stage designer Mark Ravitz. The event is described as a 1970s-themed expo with multiple stages, vendors, and special guests, including Felipe Rose of the Village People. We also discussed the rarity of the KISS Destroyer stage and its significance to KISS fans, with Bobby revealing a previously unknown detail from the blueprints about a planned flying platform for Gene Simmons.
