This is part 2 of Rachel Free’s testimony of overcoming abuse, both at the hands of her father and under church leadership. This is a crucial episode not only because of Rachel’s testimony, but also its lesson for our current moment. The word warns us of false prophets and leaders who will perform miracles, signs, and wonders seemingly in the name of Jesus, only to be told at judgment, “'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness'” (Matthew 21:23). Everyone who claims Christ is not operating in the Holy Spirit. Wheat and tares anyone?! There are counterfeit spirits and counterfeit gospels, and many are being deceived. It’s time to wake up and outgrow our Christian naiveté. We pray that Rachel’s story will aid in that.Resources discussed in this episode:Mike Winger Have thoughts about what you heard, or want to share a story of your own?
