Prior to becoming a Chief of Staff, Jacob was a reporter at Network 10 and Prime 7. Jacob studied a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology (https://www.qut.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-communication-journalism-bachelor-of-laws-honours). Trying his hand at law through a number of paralegal positions during his studies, Jacob realised that journalism was the right path for him. Most recently, Jacob was awarded a spot on this year’s B&T Top 30 Under 30 for Journalism (https://www.bandt.com.au/30u30), in recognition of the terrific work he’s done in the media space.
