The Piketon Pandemic

The PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Piketon, Ohio, is planned to be the world's largest artificial intelligence data center and power generation site. This is the same site of the former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant which began with a mission to increase the national production of enriched uranium for nuclear weapons and maintain the nation's superiority in the development and use of nuclear energy. My guest Vina Colley worked at the plant for 7 years and has, like other employees, suffered health conditions she says were caused by her employment there. Vina is the President of Portsmouth Piketon Residents for Environmental Safety and Security PRESS that has been fighting against the plant for over 40 years.
