Steelers rookie minicamp was the start for the Steelers 2026 NFL Draft class, and all eyes were on QB Drew Allar, as he began his development under Mike McCarthy and the Steelers coaching staff. It was very noticeable to see Mike McCarthy Working Closely with Drew Allar, mostly working on his footwork. We'll see in the coming months if Mike McCarthy can fix a lot of Drew Allar's bad habits. In other news, the Steelers have extended kicker Chris Boswell! Chris Boswell is now tied as the highest paid kicker in the NFL and is under contract thru the 2030 season. A very well-deserved extension for the best kicker in football. Also, Aaron Rodgers was back in tahn, but did not meet up with the Steelers.
