%%first_name%%, you haven’t lost your drive. You’re just tired of carrying. You don’t want one more thing that depends on you. Because for as long as you can remember you’ve been responsible for someone or somethingEspecially if you’re an eldst daughter—like me. You inadvertantly become the second mom, the household manager, and the one everybody can depend on. Then you are crazy enough to build a business—a successful one. You have the revenue, the clients raving about the results, and a reputation that proceeds you. Everybody is clapping for your success but nobody sees that:You stay in the car longer because you know when go inside someone will need somethingYou can’t even decide what you want to eat because you have decision fatigueYou stare at the phone ringing because you don’t have the capcity to hear what somebody else needs And even when you do have free time, you don’t know what to do with it because you’re used to giving it to someone else. So even though you know what to do, you don’t have the energy to do it. You keep going until you reach a point where you don’t want to do anything. You know what you do. You know how to do it. You’ve done it before. But you just don’t want to. You dont’ want another thing to carry because you know you’re going to have to be responsible for it. Once you build it. You have to market, manage, and make all of the decisions. So while success looks good, it just feels like another heavy load to carry. And you’re tired. You’re tired of being responsible for everything. And you should be. Because nobody told you it was okay to be tired. They told you to keep going. You never had the space to just be…to exist…to not have to produce anythingYour brain is now forcing you to give it what it has never had permission to—just be. But you can’t because you have real responsibilities—kids, household, payroll. You want to tell someone "I’m tired.” “I don’t want to do this anymore”But who do you say that to? You’re the leader—the responsible one everyone comes to.And you know the moment you show a sign of weakness, they’ll question your credibility. So, you keep going. Let me tell you something you might not want to hear, but will save your life. “You’re going to kill yourself if you don’t stop.”That’s exactly what my doctor told me when I was hospitalized from the stress and strain of carrying too much. I know it’s hard to hear but if it saves your life so be it. If my doctor wasn’t brutally honest with me, I would’ve been in a cardboard box instead of writing this. And the hundreds of thousands of followers, my employees, and all of my clients, and the thousands who’ve gone through my courses would’ve grieved, but would quickly go on about their day. Meanwhile, my family would be left with a hole in their hearts nothing on earth could fill. I would’ve missed my grandkids growing up. I wouldn’t have been able to be there to send my kids off to college or plan my daughter’s wedding. I’m not telling you to burn it all down or to stop working…you may need toBut I am telling you that you need somewhere you don’t have to carry. A community where you have have honest conversations without someone minimizing your greatness. An environment where no one is pulling from you, but you’re being poured into. Somewhere you can finally admit “I don’t want to do this anymore” without someone questioning your calling, credibility, or your competence. Most importantly, you need someone who can handle your vulnerability without violating it. I’ve created that space for you, The Rested Woman Reigns Room, where high-perfoming, high-producing, and high-profile woman can exist without having to perform. They can say the hard things and feel the feels knowing what happens in the room stays in the room.
