LEVEL 4 RE-CAP - PODCAST - THE ROPE ACCESS AND CLIMBING PODCAST Hello and welcome back to The Rope Access and Climbing Podcast. Today I’m chatting about some of my findings after the last podcast where I asked the question. Does the Rope Access industry need a Level 4? I found what people had to say interesting. Many of the people that joined the conversation had good things to say about both sides. But still a swing of opinions from Instagram to Youtube that's for sure. ROPE ACCESS LEVEL 4? - PODCAST - THE ROPE ACCESS AND CLIMBING PODCAST Hello and welcome back to The Rope Access and Climbing Podcast. Today I’m chatting about if the Rope Access industry needs a level 4. Now this episode is based mostly on my personal feelings about the subject and well I end up going down a bit of a rabbit hole here but all and all I think I get back to the point of the subject. I know that our current system has worked for the most part for 30+ years, but at some point, we have to adapt to change. One of the biggest challenges IRATA has taken on is introducing the RAMRASS program that is still in the works and has been for going on 10ish years and I’ll talk about this is another episode. But for now let’s dive into this rabbit hole of Rope Access Level 4, the course, and what it could look like. PROBABILITY OVER CONSEQUENCE - PODCAST - THE ROPE ACCESS AND CLIMBING PODCAST Hello and welcome back to The Rope Access and Climbing Podcast. Today I’m chatting about Probability over Consequence. Many of people will know this as Likelihood over severity and that’s fine too. I have found it really comes down to the different industry you’re working in. Now to understand Probability over Consequence you also have to understand what Risk Tolerance is and the difference between Risk/Hazard is. No matter what you do, no matter who you are. You are contently playing a game of Probability over Consequence. So, Let’s dive in! But first! CONFIDENT VS COCKY - PODCAST - THE ROPE ACCESS AND CLIMBING PODCAST Hello and welcome back to The Rope Access and Climbing Podcast. Today I’m chatting about being confident but not cocky and what that looks like. This is a subject I have thought a lot about over the years and have spoke a little bit about on my platform. Yet never really dove into it. Today I tell you a little bit about my story of being labled in the industry and where I have seen it. Being confident is great but it can also be looked at as being cocky. And sometimes, even as you’re just being a ass hole. I know personally this was never my intent. Sadly people talk about the industry is small. So let me know in the comments what your experience is with this topic!
