MoonNidra • Full Moon • Saga DawaSomething happens when I record without a script.I stop trying to teach.I stop trying to organize my thoughts.I stop trying to sound wise.And somewhere in that space, something else arrives.That is really how MoonNidra was born.People often ask me why it’s called MoonNidra.The answer is simple.I let the moon speak to me.I don’t mean that in a mystical or fortune-telling way.I mean that every month I sit down, listen, reflect, and notice what is moving through my own life.Then I share from there.This month’s Full Moon arrived during Saga Dawa, the sacred month in the Tibetan calendar.I thought I would speak about the moon.Instead, what arrived was a reflection on trust.How release is often associated with the Full Moon.But release doesn’t happen first.First comes surrender.And before surrender comes trust.Trust in the breath.Trust in the body.Trust in the effort you have already made.Trust in the life you have already lived.One of the things that surfaced during the recording was the pause after the exhale.The breath leaves.There is a moment of emptiness.And then the next breath arrives.No forcing.No chasing.No controlling.Just trust.Maybe that is the teaching the moon offered this month.Not to grip so tightly.Not to demand answers.Not to know exactly where the path leads.Just to trust the next breath.The next step.The next season.I hope this MoonNidra meets you wherever you are.Find a comfortable place to lie down.Look up at the moon if you can.And listen for what she might be saying to you.Love,Nikki 🌕P.S. Apparently this is a Blue Moon and it is the second Full Moon in the same calendar month.May 1st & now May 31 what can I say, some months bloom twice!I only found that out after recording.I smiled when I heard it.A second Full Moon.A second pause.A second breath.A second chance to loosen the grip and trust what comes next.Let’s do it!
