You can spend $199 a month on coaching, $997 for lifetime access to a system, watch every YouTube video someone makes, and still feel completely alone in your real estate business. That does not mean the information is bad.It means information and support are not the same thing. In this episode, I break down why real estate agents need to get more intentional about the people closest to their business. Not just the most successful people. Not just the most famous coach. Not just the broker you love or the agent you enjoy spending time with. The real question is:Are the people around you actually the right people for the business you are trying to build? If you are doing 5 to 10 transactions a year and trying to get to 30, you probably do not need another hundred hours of information. You need help closing the gap between knowing what to do and actually executing it consistently. That is where proximity matters.A course can show you what someone else did.A coach can give you a strategy. But what happens when you try it and it does not work exactly the way it worked for them? Can you bring the problem back? Can someone help you figure out what broke? Are the people around you invested in what happens next? That is a very different kind of support.I also believe there is value in being around people who are still in the fight. People who are still talking to sellers, working with buyers, solving current market problems, testing systems, adjusting strategies and learning in real time. You do not need the biggest name in the industry. You need the right people for the problem you are trying to solve.Proximity should be intentional. And sometimes the people closest to you are there because they are comfortable, familiar, or fun to be around. There is nothing wrong with that. But friendship and strategic proximity are not the same thing. If you are trying to grow your business, step back and honestly look at who is influencing your decisions, your standards and your execution.Want to take a peek behind the curtain? If you want to see what intentional proximity actually looks like, comment PASS below.I will send you a link for a two-week pass inside Carbon Collective.Come to the coaching. Bring a real problem from your business. Meet the agents. Ask the question. Why do some real estate agents seem to grow faster than others? It is not always better leads, better scripts, better technology, or some secret strategy.Sometimes the difference is the room they put themselves in.Over the last year, we have watched that play out inside Carbon Collective. When we started, the average agent in the room was doing fewer than four transactions a year.A little over a year later, average production per agent has nearly doubled and, based on our internal tracking, now outpaces the brokerage-wide average. That did not happen because Carbon sold the homes for them. The agents did the work. But they were surrounded by people willing to share what was working, talk openly about what was not working, learn from agents in different markets, and help each other solve real business problems. That is what this episode is about.Real estate is local, but your perspective does not have to be.An agent in another market may already be dealing with something your market will not see for another six months. Someone else may have already solved the problem you are trying to figure out today. You do not have to blindly copy what they did.But you can learn from it.Sharing the playbook does not play the game for you.You still have to execute. You still have to build relationships. You still have to become competent. But the right room can keep you from starting every problem from a blank page. And that matters if you are a real estate agent doing 5 to 10 deals a year and trying to grow toward 30.The people around you influence what feels possible, how quickly you learn, and how willing you are to change when the market changes.A great room is not built by the people who simply join it.It is built by the people who contribute to it.Want to take a peek behind the curtain? If you want to see what this room actually looks like, comment PASS below.I will send you a link for a two-week pass inside Carbon Collective so you can sit in on the coaching, meet the agents, hear the real conversations, and bring something from your own business that you are trying to solve. No pressure. Most real estate agents do not have a content idea problem. They have a problem recognizing the content that is already being created by their business. If you are actively working with buyers, sellers, listings, inspections, negotiations and real client questions, you already have things worth talking about. The key is learning to notice them.In this episode, I break down why I do not think real estate agents need to become “content creators.” I think they need to become better observers of their own business.Because there is a huge difference between coming up with something to post and actually having something to say.A seller asks a question. A buyer hesitates. A transaction teaches you something. A listing does not behave the way you expected. That is where the best content usually starts. The event itself is not the content.Your interpretation of it is.You probably do not need a completely original topic. You need an original point of view.We also talk about where AI fits into the process, why AI should help organize and amplify your experience instead of manufacturing it, and why repurposing weak content simply gives you more weak content.Your business should create your content.Your content should not become another business you have to run.If you are a real estate agent doing 5 to 10 deals a year and working toward 30, the goal is not to build some giant content machine that takes over your week. The goal is to let the work you are already doing help more people understand how you think. If this gave you more than another list of Reel ideas and you want to see the actual conversations happening behind the scenes with the agents we work with, comment PASS below.I will send you a link to spend two weeks inside Carbon Collective with us.Come to the coaching. A lot of real estate agents are starting to shy away from listings right now. They’re sitting longer. Seller conversations are getting harder. The old “put it in the MLS and wait” approach is not enough anymore.I want to go the other direction. If you’re a real estate agent doing 5–10 deals a year and trying to grow toward 30, listings can become one of the most powerful leverage points in your business — but only if you do more than put a sign in the yard and hope.In this episode, I break down how I think about listings differently, why harder listings can actually make great agents more visible, and how strong seller service can create proof, authority, content, conversations, and future opportunities.Because a listing should not just be one transaction. It can become a place where future clients get to watch how you actually do the job.And that matters.A listing gives you permission to show your work. The key is keeping the seller first. This is not about turning someone’s home into your personal lead-generation campaign. It’s about serving the seller at a high level, communicating better when the property gets hard to move, and using the lessons from that work to become a stronger, more visible agent. We also talk about why the harder listing may be the one that proves you’re worth hiring, how listings can help you create better local conversations, and why your business should be the source of your content instead of constantly inventing things to post.Listings create leverage — but only when the underlying work is good.🏈 Want to peek behind the curtain? If this video gave you more than just “go get more listings,” and you want to see how we’re actually working through listing strategy with agents, comment PASS below.I’ll send you a link to spend two weeks inside Carbon Collective with us.Come to the coaching. More real estate leads will not automatically fix a real estate business that is already leaking opportunity. If you’re a real estate agent doing 5–10 deals a year and your pipeline feels inconsistent, the first question should not always be, “Where can I buy more leads?”The better question is:Do I actually have a lead problem, or do I have a process problem? In this video, I break down how I would look at a real estate business before spending more money on lead generation, why follow-up and conversion matter just as much as lead volume, and how to tell when you’ve actually earned the right to scale a lead source.Because a lead is not a closing. It’s an opportunity to start a conversation. And if the business is not consistently turning opportunity into conversations, appointments, clients, and closings, adding more volume can simply make the leak more expensive. We also talk about why “bad leads” are not always the full story, why fast response is only the beginning of good follow-up, and how to decide whether the right move is more opportunity or a better process.More leads can grow a good system. They don’t create one.🏈 Want to peek behind the curtain? If this video gave you a little more than just, “You need more leads,” and you want to see how we actually look at an agent’s business before recommending another strategy, comment PASS below.I’ll send you a link to spend two weeks inside Carbon Collective with us.Come to the coaching. If you closed 5, 7, or 10 homes last year and want to get to 30, the answer probably isn’t to just buy more leads and work four times harder. The better place to start is with the business you already have.In this episode, I break down how I would look at those existing closings, figure out where the business is already working, find the leaks, and build one repeatable engine that can move you toward 30 transactions. That means looking at where your current clients came from, how they chose you, where your conversion process is breaking down, and how to use the proof and relationships you’ve already earned. Those seven closings aren’t just seven commission checks. They can also become testimonials, reviews, client stories, referrals, Annual Reviews, future moves, investment conversations, and proof that helps the next person decide to trust you. That doesn’t mean your past clients are the only path to 30.It means you should use what you’ve already built while you improve the rest of the business. We also talk about why two agents doing the exact same number of transactions may need completely different growth plans, why more leads can sometimes make an existing problem more expensive, and why your own conversion numbers matter more than some generic industry benchmark.Predictability creates confidence.🏈 Want to peek behind the curtain? If this video gave you more than just “activate your sphere” or “make more calls,” and you want to see how we actually work through these businesses with agents, comment PASS below.I’ll send you a link to spend two weeks inside Carbon Collective with us.Come to the coaching. AI is exposing some major cracks in real estate businesses — inconsistent follow-up, neglected databases, generic content, unclear processes, and agents who don’t actually know where their business is leaking. If you’re a real estate agent doing 5–10 deals a year and trying to figure out how AI can actually help you grow, the answer probably isn’t adding another tool.In this video, I break down why AI works best after you understand the problem you’re trying to solve, how I think agents should approach automation, and why good judgment, strong relationships, and clear systems are becoming even more valuable as AI gets better.Because AI can organize information, prepare communication, remove repetitive work, and make your systems more consistent. But it can’t create a strategy that doesn’t exist.Don’t automate confusion. Fix the process first.🏈 Want to see how we’re working through this inside Carbon Collective?Comment PASS below and I’ll send you a link to spend two weeks inside with us.Come to the coaching, hear the conversations, see the systems we’re building, bring the problems you’re working through, and decide for yourself if Carbon is a room that can help you build a better real estate business.Come see the room.📕RESOURCES🔗🎓 👀FREE Mini Course for real estate agents!🚀🕸bit.ly/3YyaqIW🎙🎙Recently Launched podcast, give me a follow!http://bit.ly/3jROrhh🚀Book a call to learn more about the wolf pack and 5X your business🐺https://reagentwolfpack.com😀Book an individual game plan call for your real estate businesshttps://bit.ly/3Neh4huJeremy Kane is a licensed Realtor® in Littleton, Colorado with EXP Realty and a member of the Wolf Pack Organization. If you’re a real estate agent doing 5–10 deals a year and wondering why you’re working harder without seeing the growth you expected, this video is for you. Jeremy breaks down the three shifts serious agents need to make to keep building in today’s real estate market: stronger relationships, better systems, and the right environment. We also look at what happens when listings sit longer, why communication becomes even more important when a property doesn’t sell immediately, and how great agents can use those listings to create new opportunities while still serving their sellers at the highest level.🏈 Want to see what we’re building inside Carbon Collective?Comment PASS below and I’ll send you a link to spend two weeks inside with us.📈 If you want help looking specifically at your business and building your own game plan: https://bit.ly/3Sbtv5CIn This Episode:Why good real estate agents are questioning the business right nowWhy a difficult market can become a confidence problemThe difference between working harder and building better systemsWhy relationships matter more when transactions get harderHow to communicate with sellers when listings sitHow listings can create buyers, conversations, content, and future clientsWhy your environment matters when you’re trying to growHow to rebuild confidence through evidence instead of motivationSources Mentioned:National Association of REALTORS® — 2026 Member ProfileNational Association of REALTORS® — Existing-home sales data📕RESOURCES🔗🎓 👀FREE Mini Course for real estate agents!🚀🕸bit.ly/3YyaqIW🎙🎙Recently Launched podcast, give me a follow!http://bit.ly/3jROrhh🚀Book a call to learn more about the wolf pack and 5X your business🐺https://reagentwolfpack.com😀Book an individual game plan call for your real estate businesshttps://bit.ly/3Neh4huJeremy Kane is a licensed Realtor® in Littleton, Colorado with EXP Realty and a member of the Wolf Pack Organization.
