Their policy would see councils give eight weeks' notice to property owners to either find a tenant, or have the space filled. Hamish Fitchett is somewhat convinced - he's the national director for economics and research at Colliers NZ. Then, Ed Sheeran front-footed the fallout from Macklemore's removal from his tour at the start of his first show. But did he say the right thing? And was he really obliged to say anything? Jacqueline Boaks is a philosopher at the Centre for Applied Ethics at Curtin University. And to Orewa, where Auckland Council has banned the presence of a mobile sauna due to its impact on guests at the local holiday park. Cam McKinnon of the Orewa Sauna Collective has launched a petition in protest. Finally, winegrowers in Wairarapa are celebrating a $600,000 government injection to design a food and wine trail, which, all going well, will draw crowds of Australian tousists.
