"Rooster" is an American comedy-drama series created by Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses and starring Steve Carell as well-tread and semi-dysfunctional author Greg Russo, who is working through his complicated relationship with his daughter Katie (Charly Clive). Set on the New England campus of Ludlow College, Katie, an art history instructor, is shown navigating campus life while separated from her husband (Phil Dunster), another professor at the fictional Ludlow, who has taken a graduate student as his new lover. The show also investigates academic and administrative waters. The series, which premiered earlier this spring, received positive reviews, with HBO renewing it for a second season. Dunster was kind enough to spend some time talking with us about his work and experience making the show, which you can listen to below. Please be sure to check out the show, which is available to watch HBO Max and is up for your consideration for this year's Emmy Awards in all eligible categories. Thank you, and enjoy!
