Freebirthing in Canada

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Emma.Emma is a mama of two from New Brunswick, Canada. She is incredibly passionate about physiological birth and a woman’s personal intuition of this natural event. Unfortunately there is very little access to natural pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support in her province in Canada, so navigating this world was challenging in both her pregnancies. Her first birth was followed and attended in hospital by a doula, though things did not unfold as hoped. With lots of emotional and physical preparation, her most recent birth was a redemptive, beautiful free-birth in her ensuite bathtub with her most intimate family members and best friend of over 20 years present.Curious about Emma?
