The Night Flier

Night Flier is tucked into a collection of short stories from Stephen King in a book titled Nightmares & Dreamscapes. This film took those 30 (or so) pages and delivered an atmospheric film that is stuffed with ambiance and offers a unique spin on the vampire genre. The film asks us to imagine a world in which a vampire flies a private plane from airstrip to airstrip chalking up victims along the way. Hot on his trail is Richard Dees an unscrupulous reporter for the Inside View who lusts for the story as much as the vampire lusts for blood.
