The premier is suddenly talking about being "election ready", and Elections BC is preparing for the possibility that David Eby could call a snap provincial election, just two years into his mandate. Is this the right time? BC Ferries says it's facing rising operating costs, aging ships and infrastructure, and growing demand. The company has also been trying to renew its aging fleet. A new report says about 90,000 detached houses across Canada could be demolished over the next decade. And roughly one-third of those are expected to be in Metro Vancouver.
