James Trawick is the founder and CEO of the Hondo Rodeo Fest, an invite-only professional rodeo that pairs a seven-figure purse with arena-headlining musical talent. A former western-sports competitor turned media and film producer, Trawick built the festival to stage elite rodeo athletes alongside some of the biggest names in country and rock. Since its 2024 debut at Chase Field in Phoenix, the event has expanded to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where the 2026 lineup featured Jason Aldean, Creed, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and it heads to Tampa in 2027.
