We say underrated because its Rotten Tomatoes score is crap, and we cannot figure out why. With heavy hitters like Gore Verbinski, Naomi Watts, and makeup FX by Legend Rick Baker, it's (2002) The Ring, which of course is a remake of a J-Horror classic Ringu. We break down a lot of this movie and even talk about Ringu's original inspiration beyond just the novel by Koji Suzuki .
