Members Preview | 902: East Tennessee Giants, Legends Hidden in Appalachia

Could something ancient still be hiding in the mountains of East Tennessee? Tony Merkel talks with Tabitha Prock about her family’s encounters with the mysterious White Thing and her father’s story of witnessing the excavation of an enormous skeleton. As they dig deeper, the conversation begins to connect these strange accounts to the history of the land and the unsettling stories that have been passed down through generations. Tabitha explains why she believes these experiences are more than just local folklore and why certain places in the region seem to carry something unusual about them. The deeper they go, the harder it becomes to separate legend from forgotten history—and this conversation makes it clear there is still much more waiting to be uncovered. If you’re able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay’s GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890📕 Pre-order Tony's Book: https://a.co/d/0bJS3SaV📰 Subscribe to Our Newsletter: https://www.theconfessionalspodcast.com/newsletterBecome a member for ad-free listening, extra shows, and exclusive access to our social media app: theconfessionalspodcast.com/joinThe Confessionals Social Network App:Apple Store: https://apple.co/3UxhPrhGoogle Play: https://bit.ly/43mk8kZThe Counter Series Available NOW:The Counter (YouTube): WATCH HEREThe Counter (Full Episode): WATCH HERETony's Recommended Reads: slingshotlibrary.comIf you want to learn about Jesus and what it means to be saved: Click HereTabitha Prock Merkel Media Apparel: merkmerch.comSPONSORSGHOSTBED: GhostBed.com/tonyQUINCE: quince.com/tonyIVERMECTIN: twc.health/tonyVENICE AI: https://venice.ai/theconfessionalsRUMBLE WALLET: https://rumblewallet.onelink.me/bJsX/ConfessionalsCONNECT WITH USWebsite: www.theconfessionalspodcast.comEmail: contact@theconfessionalspodcast.comMAILING ADDRESS:Merkel Media6726 Morganton RdP.O.
