Avengers: Doomsday has a stacked cast with X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Wakanda, and more.... but Avengers: Secret Wars will surely go bigger, right? Plus, more theories off the dome about Avengers: Doomsday as we are officially at the part of our timeline where it arrives next month, while Clayface wins the box office again and Godzilla Minus Zero gets ready to wreak havoc. This episode also shares stories about Patrick Stewart following the loss of a legend last week, insights from Khleo about actor perspectives on film and TV moments, and more. The audio in the episode is not to the quality which the show prefers to hold its standard to as the new recorder had an issue with a card, serving as the first to record a 3-person setup in the studio and not being salvageable for use. As a result, cleaned up audio captured by the camera is used to be able to preserve the episode. Apologies for the audio quality here, hope you still enjoy and stick around as we continue to learn from moments like these and make the show as good as it can be.
Todd Stashwick is this week's Main Character, diving into his VisionQuest role as the MCU's Paladin after Episode 5 and 6 revealed more details about this man named Paul! Stashwick, who previously worked with VisionQuest mastermind Terry Matalas, discusses their previous efforts on such titles as 12 Monkeys and Star Trek: Picard, revealing what he kept from those previous titles. Stashwick discusses wanting to see Paladin join the Thunderbolts* team in a future MCU installment, the history he has shared with Daredevil and Punisher, and more. Avengers: Doomsday footage released a joke from the movie where Ant-Man referred to Steve Rogers as "Cap," calling back to a joke with a different meaning from the Infinity Saga days where the shield had not yet been passed to Sam Wilson... there are lots of opinions on this, now. Clayface won the box office but is the DC Universe winning overall? How would we rewrite the Multiverse Saga if we were rearranging the movies and shows? Plus, Joe is diving into The Walking Dead franchise with Fear the Walking Dead and more which prompts a fun trip down memory lane at the start of this week's episode. Clayface has officially hit theaters, taking the DC Universe to Gotham City for the first time since James Gunn and Peter Safran relaunched the franchise. In this video, Joe and BD share their reactions to the Clayface movie, complete with 10-scores for the sake of debate! The spoiler-filled conversation touches on key moments in the movie, the performances by Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie, the directing work from James Watkins, and more. However, a huge part of this conversation is centered around just how familiar this Gotham City trip feels and whether or not the Easter eggs point to the Gotham seen in The Batman and The Penguin under Matt Reeves' vision with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader is actually sharing the space with Superman and the rest of the DC Universe we've seen in recent years. Avengers: Doomsday is officially less than two months away, so Joe and BD answer a question about the watchlist to properly prepare for the MCU's biggest and most important movie since Avengers: Endgame. With a complete list of Marvel movies and shows since Blade in the late 1990s, it's time for a "yes" or "no" and some debate over whether or not a movie should or can be crammed into a rewatch or watchlist to get ready for Doctor Doom's arrival in December. Plus, Clayface reactions are in and BD has a lot to say about the DC Universe's R-Rated horror movie, VisionQuest questions are piling in, and we were asked what we want for Christmas.
