In 2023 a group of like-minded individuals started Bitcoin Berlin, an organization that pushes for Bitcoin adoption & education in Berlin, El Salvador, a small town in the eastern mountains of the country. Since then, they've been profiled as the first Bitcoin city of El Salvador, making several meetups, events and onboarding more than 100 business onto the Bitcoin standard.
