The Witch of the Curve and Other Stories

A couple is driving back along a lonely road at night after visiting friends in a neighboring town. Stopping at a scenic overlook to gaze at the moon, they hear a voice calling to them from the bottom of a ravine. What begins as a quiet moment turns into an inexplicable experience when a figure emerges from the brush and climbs toward them in a way no human being could. In the second story, a worker agrees to sleep in an empty house during a business trip to save on hotel costs. At three in the morning, a stranger appears in the courtyard and silently asks him to open the door. Two encounters in different locations, united by the shared sensation of having come face-to-face with something that should never have drawn near.
