Franklin's Valentines

In the children's book Franklin's Valentines, the titular turtle meticulously prepares handmade cards for his friends, only to lose them in the snow while rushing to the bus. Discovering his bag is empty during the school party, a devastated Franklin learns from his teacher and peers that true friendship is not defined by material gifts.
