Escape from the Fire

The children's book Escape from the Fire follows two cousins, Robert and Lucy, who use their grandfather's time-traveling mobile phones to visit the past. They find themselves in 1666 London just as the Great Fire is beginning to consume the city. While navigating the historical streets, they encounter pickpockets, meet a local boy named Toby, and unsuccessfully attempt to warn a baker about the impending catastrophe. After Robert is briefly captured, the group manages to flee across the River Thames to safety as the city burns behind them.
