Otis and the Scarecrow (w Ellie)

In Otis and the Scarecrow by Loren Long, a friendly little tractor named Otis attempts to welcome a new, scowling scarecrow to the farm. When the scarecrow ignores the animals, he is left alone. Later, during a cold autumn rain, Otis feels sympathy for the lonely figure and sits quietly beside him, inspiring the other animals to join them.
