Episode Description from the Publisher

Show Notese95 Sabbath Invitation: SilenceIn the final episode of the Sabbath series, we return to the woman Jesus healed and examine what happened after the miracle. When the religious leaders challenged Jesus' decision to heal on the Sabbath, Jesus reminded them that compassion and freedom were always at the heart of God's law.Through this passage, we discover that Jesus not only heals the woman—He restores her identity by calling her a "daughter of Abraham." Her healing was not just about what was removed from her life; it was about who she was always meant to be.We also learn that sometimes the best response is silence. When God has transformed our lives, we do not always have to defend, explain, or convince others. The evidence of God's work can be seen through the freedom, joy, and transformation He creates in us.Opening PrayerGracious God, we come today asking for the wisdom to trust Your work in our lives. When others misunderstand us, remind us that You know the truth. When others question our freedom, remind us that You are the One who set us free. Help us rest in the identity You have given us, and trust that the work You begin in us. Will speak for itself. In Jesus' name, amen.Key TakeawaysThrough the woman's Sabbath encounter with Jesus, we learn:Jesus does not just remove our burdens; He restores our identity.God sees people differently than we often do.
