Why winning Makerfield might not be easy for Andy Burnham

The Constituency of Makerfield has been a Labour safe seat for generations but in the May 7th elections Reform UK won nearly every seat at the local council that was up for grabs.So how much of a gamble is trying to win this seat, and so a return to Westminster, going to be for Andy Burnham?In his favour is his personal popularity in greater Manchester and the fact he grew up in the area.
