Corey was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, eventually left the religion, and at just 17 years old, became emancipated from her parents.I have always been fascinated by high-control groups and the stories of people who find the courage to leave and rebuild their lives. And Corey's story is exactly that. It's heartbreaking, eye-opening, and incredibly inspiring all at the same time.You have to hear the reason she decided to leave the religion and the events that ultimately changed the course of her entire life.
