The Shoulder Roll Virtual Boxing podcast is the ultimate what-if show for the boxing enthusiast. It is for someone who sits around with their buddies, wondering what would have happened if these two fighters fought in their prime. Could Mike Tyson beat Tyson Fury? Would Floyd Mayweather Jr beat Sugar Ray Leonard? There are so many imaginary matches to create to pit the best against the best of all time in boxing. The Shoulder Roll Virtual Boxing podcast will be your time machine, to create what-if fights. The tool I am using to create these matches is Title Bout 2, the computer simulation created by Jim Trunzo. IMHO he has created the best PC game out there to produce the best results. Obviously, this will not solve the answers of what legendary boxer could beat another legend. But that is not the purpose of this podcast. I want you to sit back and use your imagination. It is all about having fun with a sport I love and know that you love.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America begins exactly 1,270 days after Argentina’s triumph in Qatar—a defeat that remains a jagged pill for Les Bleus to swallow. Yet, as the world’s elite descend upon the United States, Mexico, and Canada, France arrives not merely as a heavyweight contender, but as a statistical and generational anomaly.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/shoulder-roll-virtual-boxing--6207307/support.This episode includes AI-generated content. This episode includes AI-generated content.
The landscape of modern football is defined by a profound ideological schism. On one side, the German Bundesliga offers a "clean" aesthetic—a league rooted in community access, boasting the highest average attendances in world football and ironclad financial stability. On the other, the English Premier League operates as a high-stakes, high-debt drama. Despite a record-breaking broadcast deal for the 2025–2028 cycle worth £12.25 billion (of which the domestic portion alone accounts for £6.7 billion), the English game is trapped in a "famine at a feast." While revenues soar, 85% of clubs in the top four divisions are loss-making, with aggregate losses hitting £1.2 billion in the 2022/23 season.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/shoulder-roll-virtual-boxing--6207307/support.This episode includes AI-generated content. This episode includes AI-generated content.
The Arizona night will be heavy with more than just the desert heat this Saturday, June 13, 2026. Inside the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale—a venue that holds "happy memories" for Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez following his masterclass unification against Sunny Edwards—a tactical collision is brewing that defies the very math of the sport. It is a battle of disparate destinies. In one corner stands Rodriguez, the undefeated pound-for-pound supernova moving up in weight to colonize a third division. In the other stands Antonio Vargas, a reigning WBA Bantamweight Champion who has spent seven years rebuilding his life from the wreckage of a 2019 first-round knockout that nearly ended his career. How can a sitting world champion be a 14-to-1 underdog? The answer lies in the gap between divine conviction and technical perfection.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/shoulder-roll-virtual-boxing--6207307/support.This episode includes AI-generated content. This episode includes AI-generated content.

For seven decades, Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 record has served as the "Holy Grail" of boxing—a pristine, unblemished number that supposedly defines the pinnacle of heavyweight achievement. However, as we look back from the vantage point of May 2026, the modern dominance of Oleksandr Usyk (25-0) has forced a radical reassessment of what "perfection" actually means. While the "Brockton Blockbuster" represents a legendary era of grit, Usyk’s recent TKO victory over Rico Verhoeven at the Pyramids of Giza has solidified a different kind of greatness: one defined by technical "Grandmastery" rather than raw attritional volume. As a historian, I must ask: is a zero in the loss column a true measure of supremacy, or does the context of the era—and the biometric reality of the opposition—change the entire equation?Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/shoulder-roll-virtual-boxing--6207307/support.This episode includes AI-generated content. This episode includes AI-generated content.
