If you want something valuable, you must sacrifice for it. You want Jannah? Sacrifice your sins. You want peace? Sacrifice your bad habits. You want Allah’s mercy? Sacrifice your ego.You want guidance? Sacrifice your desires. Some people sacrificed animals today… but they still refuse to sacrifice their haram relationships. Some sacrificed sheep… but cannot sacrifice music, backbiting, drugs, pride, or missing Salah.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sheikh-uthman-hadi--6689369/support.

Eid Mubarak From Suh. Give Qurbani using this link: https://muslimcharity.org.uk/qurbani.As we prepare for Eid al-Adha, here is a short reminder about the beautiful Sunnah acts we should perform step-by-step on this blessed day.Eid al-Adha is not just a celebration — it is a day of worship, gratitude, sacrifice, and remembrance of Allah.First, wake up early for Fajr and begin your day with dhikr and takbeer:“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil-hamd.”Second, take a ghusl and clean yourself well. Wear your best modest clothes and apply perfume if you are a man. The companions used to beautify themselves for Eid.Third, unlike Eid al-Fitr, it is Sunnah for Eid al-Adha to delay eating until after the Eid prayer — especially if you plan to eat from your sacrifice.Fourth, continue saying the takbeer on your way to the masjid. Fill the streets, homes, and hearts with the remembrance of Allah.Fifth, attend the Eid prayer early with humility and joy. Listen carefully to the khutbah and remember that this day is from the symbols of Islam.Sixth, greet your family and fellow Muslims with kindness and love. The companions would say:“Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”— May Allah accept from us and from you.Seventh, if you are offering a sacrifice, perform your Qurbani/Udhiyah sincerely for Allah alone, following the example of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام and our beloved Prophet ﷺ.Eighth, spend time with family, feed the poor, visit relatives, and spread happiness. Eid is a day of mercy, unity, and gratitude.Lastly, do not let Eid become only about food, clothes, and pictures. Keep your tongue moist with dhikr, protect your prayers, and remember Allah throughout the day.My brothers and sisters, the Sunnah brings barakah into every moment of Eid. Revive these beautiful acts, teach them to your children, and celebrate Eid in a way that pleases Allah.May Allah accept our sacrifices, forgive our sins, and allow us to witness many blessed Eids. Ameen.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sheikh-uthman-hadi--6689369/support.
