She was beaten with a frying pan so severely that she required roughly 40 stitches. Terrified, Elnaz left her home and went into hiding with her family in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. But on the night of January 12, 2022, three masked men posing as police officers arrived at the house with fake badges, fake police vests, and what appeared to be a warrant. Within moments, Elnaz was dragged barefoot through the snow and forced into a white Lexus SUV. She has never been seen again.
