I finally jumped into Control Resonant, and after my first hour, the combat has completely sold me.I never played the original Control, but Resonant includes a story catch-up and so far I’ve had no problem jumping into this world. The combat already feels deep, with different abilities, builds, upgrade paths, aerial movement, and some really creative boss encounters. The visuals are also incredibly striking, and I’m already interested in where the story between the main character and his sister is going. This is only a first impressions video after my opening hours with the game, but Control Resonant is absolutely staying on my radar.#ControlResonant #Control #RemedyEntertainment
Silent Hill: Townfall is finally here, and I spent my first hour getting a feel for its first-person horror, puzzle design, and 1996 setting. So far, I’m really liking how involved exploration feels. Searching drawers, using pay phones, and tracking down actual puzzle clues makes the environment feel more important than simply guessing your way through solutions. There are some performance issues I noticed early on, but this is only a review in progress after about an hour of playtime.#SilentHillTownfall #SilentHill #Gaming
Hideo Kojima is speaking publicly about Sony’s surprising decision to step away from PHYSINT.Kojima says PlayStation informed Kojima Productions in June that it would stop funding the project, leaving him shocked and concerned about the future of his independent studio. He says Sony did not provide a reason for the decision. Kojima Productions has also pushed back on reports surrounding PHYSINT’s budget, development and the commercial performance of Death Stranding, urging fans to treat those claims with skepticism.PHYSINT is now moving forward with Xbox, but plenty of questions remain about what happened between Kojima Productions and PlayStation.Today I’m breaking down Kojima’s comments, the studio’s official response, and what this means for PHYSINT going forward.#HideoKojima #PHYSINT #PlayStation #Xbox #KojimaProductions #GamingNews

I break down the ports, keyboard and mouse support, Peace Walker upgrades, Ghost Babel, the launcher, Steam Deck issues, bonus content and what Metal Gear games could still be coming in a potential Vol. 3. I got to sit down with the team behind Diablo V and ask about where the series is going next, and they shared a lot more about the game than I expected.Diablo V takes place roughly 100 years after Diablo IV in a world where Diablo has effectively won. Sanctuary has been reshaped, Westmarch has fallen, and the survivors left behind are trying to rebuild in a world already conquered by Terror. We talk about Diablo V’s new and returning classes, including the Plague Knight, Demon Hunter and Monk, how combat could evolve, the return of procedural world design, the new caravan system that travels with you, itemization, exploration, and the team’s approach to making Diablo V feel different from Diablo IV.We also discuss the larger class roster, how Blizzard is thinking about movement and combat, the return of fog of war and discovery, and what the team wants players to feel when they step back into Sanctuary.Diablo V is currently targeting Spring 2029.
I sat down with the developers behind World of Warcraft Forever to find out exactly what this new version of WoW is and how it fits alongside WoW Classic and modern World of Warcraft. The team describes WoW Forever as a new “third pillar” for World of Warcraft, built around a fresh level 1-60 journey, new content inside the original vanilla era, and a world designed to keep players exploring and creating new characters. We talk about how WoW Forever works, the fresh level 1 launch, the Legacy system, racial abilities, new zones, the Skyborne race, transmog, the long-term future of the game, and why Blizzard plans to remain in the vanilla era rather than simply following the original World of Warcraft expansion path.If you're wondering what World of Warcraft Forever is, how it differs from WoW Classic, or whether it’s the Classic Plus experience players have been asking for, this interview goes directly to the developers making it.
I got to sit down with the team behind the new 3rd person StarCraft shooter to get more details. What they told me has me very excited.“Deadwood in Space”Upgradable Armor? We missed a Protoss tease?!?Full interview here. I am so hyped!
