Growing flowers and fighting fires with Jonny Hincks | Roots S1 E8 | The RHS

In Episode 8 of RHS Roots, Jo Whiley visits social media influencer and firefighter Jonny Hincks at his beautiful Warwickshire garden. Jonny shares how his passion for gardening began with the encouragement of his beloved grandmother, affectionately known as the ‘Flower Queen’. He also talks about how nurturing plants and his obsession with lawns has helped him cope with the loss of his mother when he was just 10 years old and how it helps him unwind and process the challenges of life as a firefighter. Alongside his career in the fire service, Jonny has built a remarkable online community of more than two million followers, inspiring audiences with his creative, entertaining, and informative gardening content.
