Susanna raised and educated a large family through poverty, loss, and even a terrifying house fire. She taught her sons and daughters at home, held gatherings that eventually drew hundreds of people, and faithfully encouraged her children to learn, think, and grow in their faith. Two of those children—John and Charles Wesley—would grow up to have an enormous influence on Christian history.
