Discussing "The Whisper Network" by Chandler Baker (SPOILERS AHEAD)

This was our very first Substack Live together, yay! We wanted to get together to discuss our recent buddy read, THE WHISPER NETWORK by Chandler Baker and we had a lot of thoughts about this story. If you’re not familiar with the book, it’s a mystery set in Dallas, about a group of women lawyers whose male boss, Ames, is known for being a sexual harasser, even though nothing is ever done about it. There’s a spreadsheet going around about “bad men” who have harassed women and Ames gets added to it. And thus sets off a chain of events where Ames ends up dead. But the mystery is - did he kill himself? Was it a tragic accident? Or was it murder? Dun dun DUN!Tune in to hear us discuss the characters, the writing, and especially the ENDING.
