Is Putin Being Shown a Fake War?

Today I look at a disturbing claim from a former Russia-1 editor who says Putin has been shown special edited news broadcasts for years — reports allegedly designed to create an idealized picture of Russia and, more recently, a distorted view of the war in Ukraine. That raises a serious question: is Putin making decisions based on reality, or on a filtered version of the war created by the people around him?
