Episode 10: Flowers, Flies, & Phish

Hi friends! Welcome to Episode 10! Woo!In this episode Elyssa reveals that she is a major Phish fan and has been attending multiple shows at MSG this week. Here’s the song that started it all for her. Lydia has been attending water aerobics classes. What a dream!Elyssa had to pause her Pressed Flowers Kerchief (free pattern!) when she realized she made an error. Ransom Canyon may be partly to blame.Lydia is also making a Pressed Flowers (inspired by Elyssa, obviously) and after a bit of a learning curve she is zooming right along.Lydia’s Marshland sweater in on a time out. The colors are just not vibing for her. Time to rip. @Lou.Dangit is briefly mentioned. We both love watching their creative process.Elyssa is considering the Antipodes sweater. But there’s also the Sophie Hood, her mohair top, the Pressed Flowers, etc… How many wips is too many (is there a limit?).Elyssa is doing some pest prevention for her stash- jumbo Ziplocks at the ready. Lydia picked up an older project; a mohair hat made of 2 strands of mohair held together. She doesn’t really like this project either! Go figure. She’s using the Big Cuff Hat pattern as a guide. Have you seen the work of Nancy Marchant? It is stunning! Go look at it now!Lydia found a Weir Crafts Kit at a thrift store and it was an absolute thrill.Elyssa’s story of Phish concert life totally astounds Lydia and then Lydia tells a story that makes them both want to puke.
