We're back with another installment in our acclaimed "Who the Hell?" biographical series, this time turning our attention to Jake Lang: a January 6th insurrectionist turned self-styled provocateur who has built a career out of peddling hate against Muslims, Black people, Jews, women, and any other minority group he thinks he can hurt with open expressions of bigotry. Jared and Mike are joined by photojournalist Carrie Schreck, who has had multiple run-ins with Lang over the years, to trace his path from J6 "political prisoner" to his current gig manufacturing what PTI has dubbed "confrontation porn" — a genre built on shocking people face-to-face with blunt expressions of bigotry for clout and cash. This episode also includes a reported package from Jared, who traveled to Minneapolis on Aug. 22 to witness Lang's most recent stunt, where Lang found himself on the wrong end of the law... and Spider-Man's fist.Every Spider-Man villain, from Electro to Rhino, has an origin story.
