I Hardly Know HerIf you need something to listen to while you hide under your bed, put on this week’s episode with comedian Allen Strickland Williams, whose album, Ran Through, is available now, joining Matt & Vince to talk about Mad Men season five episode four, “Mystery Date.”The offices of SCDP are abuzz after Joyce brings some grizzly photos of the Speck Murders for everyone to gawk at. The images clearly get into Don’s head, because he goes home and has a dream about murdering a former fling he encountered earlier in the day. He doesn’t really want to kill her, of course. He wants to have sex with her, but he knows he shouldn’t, and choking her to death is the best solution his subconscious can come up with. Sally is freaked out by the news of the nursing students getting murked, but luckily, her stepgrandmother is there to posit that maybe those young women deserved to get murdered because they were sluts.
