USC extends NIKE partnership plus most important Trojans for 2026

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and RJ Abeytia are back in studio discussing the recent announcement of USC athletics extending its partnership with megabrand NIKE for 10 more years, taking the relationship that started in the 1990's into its fifth decade. The new deal will put Trojan student athletes on NIKE's NIL roster, the school's brand new Bloom Football Performance Center will feature Nike strength equipment, the men's and women's basketball teams will get annual custom uniforms and NIKE promises to "refresh" and "reimagining" of the USC campus bookstore.The guys then take a look at USCFootball.com's top-30 most important Trojans heading into the 2026 college football season, with our countdown already down to No. 17 (Michigan State defensive lineman transfer Alex VanSumeren).
