10 Stars Campaign with Mike Long and Jacob Camilleri

In this episode of Owl Talk, we welcome Mike Long (Oakland ’03) and Jacob Camilleri (SVSU ’14) to discuss the Sigma Pi Educational Foundation and the return of the 10 Stars Campaign. Mike and Jacob recap recent Foundation success, including more than $217,000 in scholarships awarded over the past biennium and more than 1,000 donors during the last fiscal year. They also look back at the inaugural Bracket Challenge, which brought together more than 375 donors and raised nearly $15,000 for Chapter Educational Funds. The conversation then turns to 10 Stars, which runs throughout October. Members are encouraged to give $10 or more, invite 10 others to join them and raise funds for a Chapter Educational Fund, scholarship or program they care about. With a goal of $25,000 and more than 375 donors, Mike and Jacob explain how every gift helps support educational opportunities while keeping members connected to Sigma Pi.
