When he joined the Army in 1983, on advice and direction from his mom and a mentor and neighbor, Rande knew it was for him. Originally, the military poster 'We Want You' spoke to him hanging on his bedroom wall as a teenager. Fast forward and Rande gained traction with his Army training and civilian employment, including Disney and many top tier sports wear companies, along with his desire to always serve.
