Origins: Birth of a Pandemic is a new, three part podcast series exploring just where the COVID-19 causing virus, SARS-CoV-2, came from.  For the better part of 2020, most media and academic institutions in the US refused to consider the possibility that the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.  In the absence of more official investigations, researchers from around the world have been digging into the issue themselves, following the trail of clues left in the scientific literature.
