The Nation Golf Tournament, party planning, and the upcoming Oilers season

Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded and edited, and it's ready to help you wrap up the week. On today's podcast, the guys discussed the Nation Golf Tournament, TV talk, weather woes, and much more.The guys kicked off this week's episode of Real Life with a conversation about TV after Chalmers made his return to the podcast and spent a few minutes talking about House of the Dragon. That led the guys to do a quick Big Brother recap, and discussed whether or not this season is actually good or just something to watch. The boys also discussed the Jays' resurgence, and how this team refuses to lay down and die despite so many people writing them off only a few weeks ago. Changing gears, the guys spent the next chunk of the podcast talking about what a dreadful summer it's been here in Edmonton. For someone in construction like Chalmers, having this much rainfall has really messed up the building season. Chalmers also wanted to check out what the farmer's almanac had to say, and as it turns out, the almanac basically predicted this summer to a tee. And when it comes to the winter months? Well... the news didn't get much better.  Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast on the Thursday episode of Real Life with a run of topics, starting with a look at the Nation Golf tournament coming up next week in Mill Woods, and the RIPON event that will be happening at The Pint on September 26th.
