S Korea vs Pakistan: Why Was One Allowed To Leave The IMF Trap & Not The Other?

I have mentioned how S Korea was also trapped by the zuS to fight its proxy war, same as Pakistan but was allowed to use Pakistan's famous Second Five Year Plan to develop itself together with Malaysia and Indonesia (China as well actually) while Pakistan was deliberately screwed by the US. We know why Pakistan wasnt allowed to develop into the super power it was becoming but why was S Korea allowed? Why was S Korea allowed to break free from the IMF trap? The IMF crises deliberately engineered by the US was to do to East Asia what the US did to Pakistan, so why?Let's explore.
