Researchers from Google and Stanford University have developed a new model called Switch Transformer, which can handle multiple tasks such as translation, summarization, sentiment analysis and more with a single architecture. The model uses a novel technique called mixture of experts, which allows it to dynamically switch between different sub-networks depending on the input and the task. The model achieved state-of-the-art results on several benchmarks, while being more efficient and scalable than previous models. Next, we have some exciting news from the field of computer vision.
