Billy Wilder's 1959 comedy follows two musicians Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) in 1929 before the big crash who witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and go into hiding as two female musicians Josephine and Daphne on tour with Sweet Sue's Society Synchopators.They both fall for Sugar Kane Kowalczyk (Marilyn Monroe) who sings and plays ukulele in the band while Daphne is also relentlessly pursued by a millionaire named Osgood Fielding (Joe E.
