In this episode, we bring back filmmaker Leigh Whannell, the co-creator behind horror franchise favorites like Saw and Insidious, and the director of films like The Invisible Man and Wolf Man. He’s back as a producer on the latest film in the Insidious franchise, Insidious: Out of the Further, coming August 21st. We talked about Leigh’s history with horror, how Insidious came together, and his creative partnership with James Wan. We also got into how the franchise has evolved over the years, the lasting impact of Saw and Insidious, and what makes ghost stories resonate across all cultures and time.
