'It's Wyoming's toad': Inside a multi-state effort to save a humble species from extinction

In several zoos across the Midwest, there are staff dedicated to feeding and breeding a rare toad. They hope to keep the species alive and support its recovery, despite threats like climate change and a deadly fungus. Next week, the zookeepers will head west to see the toads in the wild.
