Hoffman argues that this programming is the product of the science of mathematical calculation wedded to the art of Twilight Language, an infernal marriage which has created a Pharaoh’s cauldron, in which psychologically degraded Americans are not only immersed, they're doing nothing practical to extricate themselves. The process is made to appear inevitable, and refusal useless.
