Pete Alonso for MVP, Francisco Lindor Stays Hot and Mets Sweep Phillies

The New York Mets just completed their first sweep of the season against the Philadelphia Phillies which pushes their NL East Division lead to 10.5 games over Philly! Pete Alonso continues to own the city of Philadelphia and make a case for MVP talks. Francisco Lindor is really good so of course he had another great series. Jeff McNeil soared like an eagle around the bases after hitting a big HR in game 2 and we even saw Nick Plummer hit a game tying HR in the bottom of the 9th for his first MLB hit. Mets pitching continues to shine with great performances from Chris Bassitt, Carlos Carrasco & Taijuan Walker. Mets are good, really good and continue to dominate the NL East division!
