Jerry Bowyer: On the Death of Charlie Kirk, My Last "Sermon" in the Episcopal Church

From Jerry: The following remarks were given by me at All Saints Episcopal Church shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I was asked to speak by the priest of that church, Father Jay Geisler, and the first minute or so is about his work with addicts. Ironically, after this call for us to continue to reason together as Christians and to not try to shut out, shut up, or cancel our opponents, shortly after these remarks, the bishop acted to impair me from serving in any leadership post at all in any parish in the diocese. One year later, after we see the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the hateful and intolerant reaction of many to it, I thought the time had come to publish these remarks here.
